Data Deletion Instructions

These instructions explain how to request deletion of personal data held by Clip Dash Tech Ltd, trading as Clip Dash Tech. We are a company registered in England and Wales, with our office at 33 King Street, Manchester, M2 7AT, United Kingdom. These instructions apply to information collected through https://clipdash.app, our services, and supported integrations, including Facebook and other Meta services.

Your Right to Erasure

Under Article 17 of the UK General Data Protection Regulation, you may have the right to ask us to erase personal data relating to you. This is commonly known as the “right to erasure” or “right to be forgotten”. The right applies in circumstances including where the data is no longer required for its original purpose, you withdraw consent and there is no other lawful basis for processing, or the data has been processed unlawfully.

The right to erasure is not absolute. We will assess each request under applicable UK data protection law and explain if any information cannot be deleted.

What We Delete

Subject to verification and any lawful retention requirements, we will delete or irreversibly anonymise personal data associated with your account and use of our services. This may include your profile details, contact information, account preferences, uploaded content, service activity, support correspondence, technical identifiers, and data received through an authorised Facebook or Meta integration.

Deleting data may prevent you from accessing your account, previous content, connected features, or service history. Where information has been stored in system backups, it will be isolated from ordinary use and removed in accordance with our backup retention cycle.

What We May Retain

We may retain limited information where necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, establish or defend legal claims, prevent fraud or misuse, and maintain security. This can include records required for tax, accounting, audit, and corporate administration purposes. We may also retain a minimal record of the request and our response to demonstrate compliance.

Retained information will only be used for the relevant legal or operational purpose, protected with appropriate safeguards, and deleted when the applicable retention period ends.

How to Request Deletion

Email admin@clipdash.app with the subject “Data Deletion Request”. To help us identify the correct records, include:

  1. Your full name.
  2. The email address or account identifier used with Clip Dash Tech.
  3. A clear statement that you want your personal data deleted.
  4. The service or integration concerned, including whether your request relates to Facebook or Meta.
  5. Any relevant profile, workspace, or reference details that will help us locate your data.
  6. Your preferred method for receiving confirmation.

Please do not send passwords, payment card details, or unnecessary identity documents by email.

Data from Facebook or Meta

If you connected Clip Dash Tech to Facebook or another Meta service, first remove the integration through your Facebook settings. In Facebook, open Settings & privacy, select Settings, then review Apps and websites and remove Clip Dash Tech where listed. Menu names may vary by device or Meta product.

Removing the integration stops future access but may not automatically delete data already shared with us. To request deletion of associated information held by Clip Dash Tech, email us using the process above and identify the Facebook or Meta account connection concerned.

Verification

We must take reasonable steps to confirm that a request comes from the relevant individual or an authorised representative. We may ask you to verify control of the account or email address, or provide limited additional information matching our records. We will request only what is reasonably necessary and will not delete data if doing so could compromise another person’s rights or account security.

Timeline

We will confirm receipt of a complete request within seven days. We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. If a request is unusually complex, affects multiple systems, or requires additional verification, we will explain any necessary extension and keep you informed. We will confirm when deletion is complete or provide the legal reason for retaining specific information.
